Breaking up is hard to do, and so you'd like to handle the transition as light as possible. Of course you would have to settle the financials and who gets what, and visitation/communication rules, but after those it's time to think about yourself, which you didn't have a chance when you were in a relationship.
1. Find a cool new haircut
2. Sign up for gym membership
3. Find a new hobby or revisit old ones, or continue working on a project that has been shelved for a long time
4. Seek help from others, especially on chores
5. Volunteer, help someone
6. Watch cheesy movies
7. Ice Cream and Popcorn - moderately
8. Seek new friends who are single and hang out with them
9. Go somewhere for a vacation...get out and explore new places, or just plan a staycation at a new city/town
10. Reconnect with old friends, you have more time now...
